Hello,

how is possible to get hierarchical places to PLAC? Is it possible to join comma separated values from CITY and CTRY to PLAC?

Thanks

Hierarchical places is what I need http://www.genopro.com/help/places/

Is it possible to define missing Place Category?

For example:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okres - http://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okres

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urban_district - http://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Městská_část_a_městský_obvod

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neighbourhood - http://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Část_obce

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamlet_(place) - http://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osada

Export to Gedcom already caters for hierarchical places by concatenating Names of child/parent Places into the PLAC tag.  The address fields are placed in the ADDR tag.

GenoPro's usage of Places is slightly different form the accepted Gedom usage of PLAC  and so a precise mapping is not available.

The current report does not support using address fields for the PLAC tag but a simple change to the javascript in Gedcom.js will provide it.

AFAIK you cannot add new Place Categories to GenoPro, however you can use its built-in translation facility, i.e Language/Translate Enumerations to change Category titles that you do not require to those that you need.
