I am trying to create a genogram however after following all of the instructions and downloading Geno-Pro, I am not able to actually see a template for me to begin my personal genogram. I'm only getting a gold background and that's it. Please help me by letting me know what I need to do to get started.

A gold background might indicate that you "minimized" all your genograms. See the bottom left corner of your window.
Anyhow, just put your cursor in the middle of the screen, hit the "F" key and see what happens.
