Undoubtedly, hyperlinks are very useful feature of GenoPro. But unfortunately hyperlinks are restricted only to individuals. I think it would be great if future version would allow to hyperlink whole segments of a family tree. This would require at least extending hyperlink feature on pedigree & union links, but it would be convenient to include objects as well.
Any thoughts on that?

Hyperlinks in the GenoPro 2011/2016 sense are not required in GenoProX as every displayable object can appear on as many GenoMaps as you want and many times on the same GenoMap. The data in the model is stored separately from its views,
I guess it will be useful to still have a 'hyperlink' function to be able to move from one instance of an object to the next.

In GenoProX, every object has a 'data' component and optionally a 'view' component. This way, the same individual, family, pedigree link, organization may appear multiple times on the same GenoMap and/or multiple GenoMaps.

So, hyperlink function will still be limited to individuals in GenoPro 2016?
As regarding GenoProX, I agree with genome, something like "hyperlink" function would be convenient to move from one "duplicate" object to another.

So, hyperlink function will still be limited to individuals in GenoPro 2016? Yes, changing the way hyperlinks work is huge. This is why we are rebuilding GenoProX completely from scratch. As regarding GenoProX, I agree with genome, something like "hyperlink" function would be convenient to move from one "duplicate" object to another. By default, the copy & paste will automatically create an hyperlink to the 'data objects' if done within the same document.

How should the following comment from GenoProSupport be interpreted:
"As regarding GenoProX, I agree with genome, something like "hyperlink" function would be convenient to move from one "duplicate" object to another.By default, the copy & paste will automatically create an hyperlink to the 'data objects' if done within the same document."
I read that there will be hyperlinks in GenoProX. Am I right? Hyperlinks are an essential tool in Genopro, even if they are limited to individuals (note that you can always insert extra dummy hyperlinked individuals if you absolutely require the feature... You may later need to eliminate them from appearing in the report, but that is the price to pay). If there is no hyperlinks in GenoProX, I would certainly stay with GenoProYY latest version.
