Had this problem reported by another software package. Reported problems were only few, but nevertheless should have been spotted within GenoPro.

This is one of those things that is generally a good idea, but might cause erroneous flagging in some historical genealogies. In the Middle Ages, there were numerous arranged weddings in royal and noble families performed when the partners were children, usually for the sake of securing alliances or the line of succession. This is another good example of why I would like to see a Problem Spotter configuration window with checkboxes to turn rules on and off.

True.  I don't want to spend too much time on the Problem Spotter for GenoPro 2016.  If I were to continue with all the suggestions, there would be no time to develop GenoProX.  GenoProX will support animal pedigree, and the Problem Spotter will have storage to store parameters in the .gno file.  Therefore if a GenoPro user is doing a family tree for the medieval ages, or an animal pedigree, or a family tree for a science fiction, then he/she can adjust the parameters.  Better, GenoProX will be capable to store comments on each problem with the option to ignore a specific problem.  The idea behind the Problem Spotter was to find the most common problems, however sometimes the Problem Spotter reports false positives.

I was just curious as to whether my idea of a rules configuration list for the Problem Spotter will be implemented in GenoPro X. Smile

Edit: Looks like this has been answered in the affirmative already, according to GenoPro's response here. BigGrin
