My previous upload in June went OK. Yesterday I got the error message above.
As far as I know I did not change my firewall settings. What should I check?

Just realised I'm not the only one.
See http://support.genopro.com/FindPost36011.aspx in the "bug report" sub forum.
Tomorrow I'm giving a GenoPro presentation at the Brussels' Genealogical Association (Familiekunde Brussel). That will be fun.
I'll run it off-web.

My mistake, I made a change which caused the downloading of GenoProCache.xml to fail. Can you please try to download version 3.0.0.4 at http://www.genopro.com/InstallGenoPro.exe and let me know if it works?

Sorry, but I'm still in 2.5.4.1 and I'm not going to upgrade one night before the demo.

Nand (23-Oct-2015) Sorry, but I'm still in 2.5.4.1 and I'm not going to upgrade one night before the demo.I understand. Any slight change may break something. In my 20+ years of software development, I learned the lesson well. In fact, I just changed one line of code in GenoPro 2016 to better handle HTTP errors and broke the download of GenoProCache.xml

I'll give it a try on a spare system this evening and will let you know.

I installed 3.0.0.4 on a spare Windows 7 laptop and gave it a try.
Both the report generation with the English Narrative Report 2015.10.12 and the upload (to a separate test folder) went OK. Thank you.
I noticed some differences on the fly (like skin locations) which I will have to examine more closer later on.
Also thanks for the mail.
