Hello,

I am trying to use GenoPro for a class, and have downloaded and installed it, but when I try to register for an academic evaluation key, it gives me this error:
Error sending registration key to email '***********@yahoo.com':
The attempt to connect to the server failed; please verify firewall settings, server name and port number
https://api.genopro.com/ws.asmx

I have tried many times, while even turning off my firewall, but it won't seem to send the request successfully to your servers. Is there any way I can get around this?

Thank you, T.

According to our records, not request was made with your email address, meaning your computer was unable to access our server GenoPro.com.

If you need a temporary key, feel free to use this one which is valid for 6 months: 3-ULBN-M3ZW-YMCs-TMP

greetings! i am trying to contact the author of http://familytrees.genopro.com/105237/Jurenak-Windisch/ genopro genealogy; however, when logged into my just created account, when trying to send this message to the author i receive a 404 error with the note that the author disabled receiving email via genopro and the suggestion to contact the author directly: would it be possible to receive from genopro the name and last contact detail of the author?
the reason of my trying to contact said author: my jurenak genealogy oncluding windisch data is here http://docs.lib.purdue.edu/clcweblibrary/totosyrecords and hope to correspond with the author of the genopro genealogy to make corrections and additions
please let me know, with many thanks in advance,

I entered new data. I saved the file. Then I wanted to do the Online Backup. That failed. I then tried to Generate a Report for online viewing. That failed as well.

The error message reads: The attempt to connect to the server failed; please verify firewall settings, server name, and port number. Of course, I have no idea how to locate firewall settings, server name or port numbers. It then provides a link that when I visit it, it is so far past my ability it could have been written in Sanscrit.

How do I get GenoPro to play nice with me?
