You will have duplicates of the individual's that are in both .gno files. They need to be merged together, which means replacing one copy of each duplicated individual with a hyperlink to the other. Before deleting one copy of the individual and creating the hyperlink you will need to examine the data and links associated with it and add to the remaining indivdual.
This process can be done by visual inspection and amendment or you could take look at a utility created by
Nand on this forum,
FPS GenoMerge, to assist with this process.
Places may also be duplicated. Again compare each duplicated place and ensure you update any unique data on to one of the duplicates. Then use GenoPro's Table Layout/Delete/Places and Locations menu and delete the 'unwanted' copy of any duplicated place. If the deleted place is referenced by other objects GenoPro will ask you to choose the place to replace it with, so you can then choose the 'wanted' copy of the that place.
