On the web site it states that a larger size of print can be obtained from Staples , the stationary store.

I have contacted the on line help line for Staples, and they do not offer this service in the UK.

Can you advise of anyone else in the Uk who might offer this service please.?

My tree covers  several pages at the moment which i have printed out as A4, and stuck together, but would like a more professional looking complete sheet

Any suggestions?

thank you

You could try Office Outlet, they have about 90 stores around the UK and offer in-store large format printing.
If you go to their website and search for a nearby store, the contact details usually give an email contact address for the store's in-store printing service enquiries.

It's best to contact them to find out sizes, costs, and what format they need the data in to print.

There are probably many other companies who also offer a similar service, this is just the one that I know of.

Hope this helps,
Martyn

You could also try Ryman, they have about 220 stores.

There are a number of online printing services, http://pixel2print.co.uk for example.  They will print an A0 sized page (1189mm x 841mm) for aroung £16 including postage.

Most will print from a PDF file. pixel2print require a PDF with fonts converted to graphics.  I have researched how this can be achieved and suggest the following process.

1. Download and install the free applications PrimoPDF and Foxit PDF Reader.  Choose install options carefully to avoid installing unwanted software such as the trial version of PhantomPDF etc.

2. In GenoPro use File/Print Setup and select 'PrimoPDF' as your printer and then click the 'Properties' button. Select the 'Layout' tab and click the 'Advanced' button at the bottom. Select 'PostScript Custom Page Size' as the Paper Size setting and click 'Edit Custom Page Size'  and set to 1189mm x 841mm to achieve A0 size.

3. Click 'OK' on all dialogues to complete Printer Setup.

4. Click GenoPro's File/Page Layout and then adjust Scale (%) of required GenoMap to achieve best fit to a single (A0) page and click 'Ok'

5. Click 'File/Print' and click 'Ok' button on  Print dialogue.

6. When PrimoPdf window appears choose 'PrePress' option button and click 'CreatePDF', choose folder/filename of your choice in 'SaveAs' dialogue.

7. Open the resulting PDF with Foxit PDF Reader.  Notice that you can successfully search for text in the document (Ctrl/F).  In Foxit's File/Preferences dialogue choose Print option and then under Printer tick the 'Print Text as a graphic' setting.

8. Click Foxit's File/Print and again choose 'PrimoPDF'as the printer and set the A0 page size as in 2 above. Then choose the PrePress option as before and ÇreatePdf'.
9. When you open the new resulting PDF with Foxit you will notice that you can no longer search for text, indicating the text is now just lines and curves and not a font.

Send that last PDF file to Pixel2Print after reviewing it.  You can modify the above instructions for other 'poster' sizes if you wish
