Hello,

I'm running GenoPro on Ubuntu and when i select
Help>Check for Updates
i get the following error:

Error 12157 - <Unknown Error>
http://api.genopro.com/ws.asmx

Ubuntu Version:16.04 LTS
GenoPro Version:3.0.1.1

Any idea how to fix this problem ?

According to https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/20832854/WinInet-error-12157-and-Client-certificate.html the error 12157 (ERROR_INTERNET_SECURITY_CHANNEL_ERROR) is because:

"The application experienced an internal error loading the SSL libraries."

During the past decade I have seen this error about 3 times from different users, however I have no clue how to fix this. To our best knowledge our certificates are valid.

If you try https://api.genopro.com/ws.asmx you will see the certificate is valid.

Understood, thank you for the feedback anyway, if i find the work around i will post it here if possible.
