Unable to register, or open certain windows

I have two big issues, not sure if they are related:

1. I purchased a registration key, but I am unable to open the About window to register (clicking About does nothing at all), and the registration window never appears when I open the app. I seem to have no way to put in the registration key I bought.

2. The About menu option is not the only one that does nothing when I click it. This also happens with Options, Family Wizard, Import File, and a couple others. Clicking them doesn't open any windows, not even in the background. This is preventing me from doing a lot of basic things besides just registering. 

I am running the latest version, on Windows 10. I have tried clearing my registry keys, and reinstalling.

For those reading this thread, Craig and I spent 40 minutes on Skype with screen sharing.  Craig is a developer with a special environment and some of the dialog templates are failing during the WM_INITDIALOG message.  He installed GenoPro in a VM and it is working fine.
