Recently I realized names and place names do get not completed when typing. Tried to reinstall but still the same. Anyone with similar experience? Could this be caused by an update of Windows? Any comment is welcome.

On both Win7 HP & Win 10 starting to type a name opens list of existing names

Perhaps you have inadvertently switched this feature off. 
Right click on a field where you expect an auto-complete drop down list and check settings. Choose an option other than 'Never Displa' |
