Hi All i am having issues regarding the addiction and some of the medical condition symbols. as you can see they are no longer here and seem to have been replaced with duplicates of the relationship symbols. i have tried clicking and unclicking the relevant box in the view tab, but nothing changes. on older genograms i have created the info is still on the sheet, but the symbols are no longer in the tool bars. have any of you got any idea how to sort this? i have the latest 2020 version but i had the issue before i updated and hoped the update would fix it. any help is massively appreciated. thank you |

Select the Tools menu and the menu item Options. You will see several Genogram Options, one is Display Genogram Symbols for Family Relationships. When you restart GenoPro, you should see a different toolbar.

I'm having the same problem. This just started today. I've tried checking and unchecking boxes, but the medical tool bar is completely gone. Not helpful!

Re-installing does not work as GenoPro remembers the toolbar settings. After changing the settings you have to restart GenoPro. GenoPro was built using the MFC framework and the toolbars are initialized when the application starts.

So how do I restart genogram pro?? Are you suggesting that I restart my computer, or is this a different restart process specific to the program?

I think I understand what you mean... you want the toolbar to show the medical conditions like below: To change this, you have to go to the Options dialog from the Tools menu. Uncheck the option Display Genogram Symbols for Family Relationships and restart GenoPro. |
