The problem spotter sometimes issues a warning saying that "All twins should have the same date of birth".
But it is possible that twins are born one day apart, typically before and after midnight.
The difference can even be more than one day.  This article in ABC news mentions a case where identical twins are born 18 days apart.
Looks as if a difference of one day could be silently accepted.
