Anyway to take a portion of tree and e-mail it?

I want to select one family, ask them to "fill in the blanks" and return it to me.

I know I can send a database report. And if I were to get it, I would have no problem working with it. But that is me. Parts of the family tree are not comfortable around computers. So, I felt a graphic image of their part of the tree would tell them what I need. That is, where there is a circle or square without an age date, I need a birthdate.

Best I can figure for me to send that portion of the family tree that is theirs, they would have to download GenoPro to obtain the viewer. Not a option for many in my family.

Is there a workaround?

You might export metafile and convert it to a picture... Or if you have AdobeAcrobat... print it to *pdf. So they can have visual representation without working with Genopro...

Then just mail them a file... they can print it out ant that's about it...
(At least that's what I did!) 8)

My hope is to make GenoPro easy enough than someone not very good with computers can use GenoPro to enter basic data. Again, I am looking forward in the future to have a feature "track changes" with a merge option when multiple users are editing the same tree.

I tried the metafile. I do not have Acrobat, but I do have another metafile viewer. I was able to e-mail the file.

Thanks for the guidance.
