My recommendation is to generate an HTML report using GenoPro Beta.  The report will include the original .gno file (family tree) as well as all the pictures.  You can copy/burn the report to your CD.

In the future, GenoPro will have the tool/feature to backup a family tree with all its pictures.  We also plan to offer a backup service on our secure server to our customers.

if you have xp why do you need nero

xp has native burnning capablity

just drop all the filles you want on the drive
drop in a blank cd

right click and say create cd

do this twice

label both cd's

send one to your mom
keep on in a safe

Let's try not to talk about preferences...

FYI Win XP needs 3x the space size needed of the files to be written, so when you're short with space they're certainly not the solution! They prefer to change time stamp, not as customizable, not downward compatible (i.e. they'll burn files with names and descriptions not compatible with other older systems, without notice... Just to name some disadvantages of win xp built in burning capability). They just request that you have all the best and newest in your surroundings... just to be compatible with yourself!

For the solution:

Generate report with images on relative path within folder of Report, AND backup that folder with all subfolders!

(BTW, Haven't tried it myself, but will as I find some more time to cope with it...)
