This forum is mainly about the developing version of 2.0. This is a Beta version, ie still having improvements. As you are using this forum, go to the link on the second subject ie Suggestions, Wish List and Feature Requests where you will find GenoPro Beta. This will read your existing files and preserve them in addition to the new format, which has many advantages. If you have a full copy of v.1.9 then this can coexist with the new version; it installs into a separate place.

Go for it

Thanks appleshaw, but in my version I have no New Twins option. Maybe I need a newer version.

Create the two children, they can be the same sex or different. Select one of the twins; right click, which brings up a menu. On this is an option 'New Twins' . This then allows you to use the mouse to link to the other twin.

A quicker option is to select the first twin and press 'T' on the keyboard. This also gives the ability to identify the twin

It is also possible to define the twin link as fraternal or identical
