I am currently using the Genopro version 1.99 and am using the genopro golden key with this version.  I am aware that the genopro version 3.0 is coming out and am extremely keen on using this version because of its feature that multiple users can edit the information and not overwrite the exisiting information.  So, my questions are:

 whether or not Genopro 3.0 will be a free download software?

whether i can use my golden key with this version and if the key will still be useable?

when is genopro 3.0 coming out?

Version 3.0 is not even on the radar as yet. Version 2.0 will almost certainly be released later this year and you will be able to use your existing Golden Key with it. Beta releases for version 2.0 have been around for quite some time and the later versions are very stable and have much improved facilities over 1.99.  I recommend you try the latest release (17i at the time of writing) that you can download from http://www.genopro.com/beta/. I think a Golden Key purchased for 1.x is good for all 2.x releases but perhaps only Golden Keys purchased after the release of 2.0 will be good for version 3.x.

GenoPro 2.0 is under way, there are a total of 20 betas and beta 18 is almost complete.

All registration keys / golden keys will be fully accepted for GenoPro 2.0 giving you unlimited use of GenoPro 2.x forever without spending any extra.  There is no subscription (pay every year) to use GenoPro 2.0.  All minor upgrades of GenoPro 2 will included in the GenoPro 2.0 package.

The features described in GenoPro version 3.0 (won't be available before 2008).  Those features will require a new key like any other software purchased.  We have a long list of features to include in GenoPro 3.0 and beyond.  We have not finalized the roadmap for version 3.0 yet, however we can assert the coming versions will include features as exciting as upgrading from version 1.0 to 2.0.
