I am using Genopro2007.  When I use the report featureI have found that if parents have 2 children and one has passed away they are no longer shown as children of their parents.

Why is this?

Thanks Irv

Why is this?

If, as I suspect, you mean that only the deceased child is shown in the report and the parents and sibling are not shown at all, then you have the Privacy Filter set to 'Remove All Living Individuals' - see below.

You can either check the 'Keep Names' box as shown to show the living individuals without other personal data, or unclick the 'Remove All Living Individuals' bow to show the full information.

Thank you for the reply.

No, its just the opposite.  The deceased person no longer shows with the rest of the family.  If the family has two children and one is deceased it shows the family with only one child.

Thanks Again,

Irv

That's an odd one which I cannot reproduce Crazy. I suggest you post a sample file where this occurs (you can copy and paste the problem family to a new file) so it can be tested.

Can you tell me how to do that?

It is not something that I have ever done, and investigating the forum I realised that there is no obvious method although others have done so.

Can someone give instructions to 'Post Attachment'?

Posting Attachments is in a bad location and easily missed, you scroll down to the bottom of the Post Reply page that I am currently using to send this message and choose Edit Attachments.  You can then use the dialog to search for the file on your computer and upload it.

Make sure that the 'make label' checkbox is not clicked on the missing person.

The problem is that Jeffrey has been excluded from the family. Click on to the Family tab for Jeffrey and it appears he has no relatives. Uncheck the box Make Label/Exclude from Report, and he re-appears
