Is there a way to put pictures of individuals in the family tree?Also I have tried to put pictures in the table/window of each individual. However, the picture is not visible in this table. Have tried .jpeg and .tif, neither worked. What picture format should I use? David

Is there a way to put pictures of individuals in the family tree?
Also I have tried to put pictures in thetable/window of each individual. However, the picture is not visible in this table. Have tried .jpeg and .tif, neither worked. What picture format should I use?

David, if you want to see the picture of an individual and/or family on the screen when you open the gno file, then the answer is no (at present). Unless you click that individual.
When you create a report you can see the pictures in the report. On top of this there is a way to include pictures in the created SVG graphic by using the text box and then specify the picture ID. This procedure is mentioned in this forum somewhere.

Thank you for your quick response.Allow me to come back on my second question: A picture is not visible in the box (under the tab Generation), in the window "Individual" Properties -> Pictures. The picture location is entered as: F:\Temp\Pico.tif and the Preserve path is vinked. Below in the "Picture list" I see under Picture name: "Samuel David" which is correct, but on the same line Source, Sources and References remain empty. Am I correct to expect this picture to be visible in the box? Again many thanks, for your help. David

Allow me to come back on my second question: A picture is not visible in the box (under the tab Generation), in the window "Individual" Properties -> Pictures. The picture location is entered as: F:\Temp\Pico.tif and the Preserve path is vinked. Below in the "Picture list" I see under Picture name: "Samuel David" which is correct, but on the same line Source, Sources and References remain empty. Am I correct to expect this picture to be visible in the box? David A picture under the tab Pictures of an individual properties should be visible if the path is correct. However I recommend to unclick "Preserve Full Path" as shown below, since it may not work when you want to make a CD or transfer the report to a folder where you may not have the same path. In my case I use a subfolder to the folder where I have the gno files. 
A source is only shown if you have actually entered a source. A reference shows up if the picture is also used for other individuals, families, places, etc. Hope this will help.
