I have the most recent version of GenoPro and I have checked all settings, but it still doesn't work from the program. I just bookmarked the help page and I get to it that way.

I have seen a similar problem where launching an URL does not work.  Can you try setting Internet Explorer as your default web browser.  It is possible your default web browser does not understand the built-in "open URL" command.

Is there a way to associate the "Help" with the files on the web. When I click on "Help" nothing happens. I can bring up the help files on line without any problem. I just can't get to them from GenoPro.

Genopro does not package the help files for local use. If you are unable to access them, then it is because you have no internet access, or are blocked from accessing Genopro site, which does not seem to be the problem, or you are using a very old V1.x version of Genopro that is not accessing the correct help pages online, in which case an upgrade to v2007 is highly recommended.

Clicking on 'help' should point the browser to http://www.genopro.com/help/

I have checked everything I know to check, but it all appears ok. I don't have a firewall. When I click on help, I get the hour glass for a second and then it goes away. It does this at any help button even within the program. I had to tell it not to look for firefox on the reports could this be causing it. Could it be looking for Firefox and I use IE?

GenoPro has context-sensitive help, meaning each dialog has a dedicated help page.  For instance, if you are in the "Birth" dialog, then clicking on the button help will bring you directly to http://www.genopro.com/help/individuals/birth/.

If you cannot get the help, check your browser settings and/or firewall settings.

Help does not work on my GenoPro. The help files are empty. Can I download them or are they there and just need to be installed?
