Thanks but that is what I do NOT want to do (change at control panel) what happened was, I in effect ended up with a "Japanese version" i.e. File, Edit, etc are IN Japanese and I do not read enough to easily navigate the program.

The input function in any textbox is related to Windows not GenoPro.There is usually a shortcut LEFT ALT+SHIFT that switch between a keyboard and another one. But the real way to fix this, is to change the default input language. Go in the Control Panel - Regional and Language Options - Languages - Text Services and input languages. Press the Details... button, select the correct input.

I have just downloaded "try out" and while looking for how to input Japanese.... the program changed to Japanese and I cannot find how to change back... my intent was to be able to input Japanese as one does in MS Word i.e. I am NOT Japanese literate enough to use Japanese based input.
