Kate;

You should have no problems inserting a metafile exported from Genopro into a Word document.
But don't attempt to paste a large diagram - it will be too small to be readable.

What I would suggest is to select each family group separately ie parents and children (you can use the select direct ancestors, siblings and spouses buttons to isolate a family) then paste each family into a new Genopro file temporarily and export each family as a metafile.
After you paste each family on its page in Word you can add a link to the next generation or simply a reference to the page showing the continuation of the family's descendants.

If you mean the diagram that you have created you can export it as a Metafile but this can not be used by all programs. Look at the messages on this forum about this. If it is a diagram that fits on on screen you could use the Print Scrn button aand then paste it, but this usually produces a poor image.

If you want to use the text the Report Generator can produce a variety of Word documents. Open this (from Tools) and select the appropriate Skin

Hi,

This is a basic question, I know..

 I've created a nice family pedigree and I'd like to be able to insert it into a biography project I'm working on.  Can I export it into MS word or some other program? Can I take a snapshot and put into a MS paint or other graphic program?

Thanks - Kate
