I built a large file .gno importing various files .ged in which the name of place of birth, death, marriage, etc .... was indicated in different ways, even though they the same city (Gemona, Gemona del Friuli, Gemona(Udine), Gemona(Italy) ...).
Logically GenoPro has created different "Places" with different "ID".

In other records the names of places lacking.

Working on a table of places, I could make them formally equal, but not to unify.

(This is not possible in Form "Place Properties"

   )

Is there a function in GenoPro to unify the Places that are only seemingly different?

You can assign the same ID without having to change any single individual?

Or, you can work on entire columns or on multiple selections by “paste” as in MSExcel?

thanks.
