From what you said at the beginning I think that you need to select the parent and use the Descendants Report. This will create a text file and open it either in MS Word, or in my case Open Office

Thank you for your quick replies and suggestionsI did a quick search and saw there were multiple Descendants Reports .. is there one in particular that you would recommend above all others? or a top 2? 3? list? Thank you in advance.

As always there are other ways to get what you want. If you select parents and then the descendants you have identified the family. You need to select both parents first before descendants. If you want to limit the scope by excluding grandchildren, then just select children. If you want the children's partners, then add these afterwards.
Then copy the selection and paste to a new file (I would use Ctrl+C, Ctrl+N then Ctrl+V). You can then make a MS Word report in the normal way

As an alternative to a family sheet you can use the "descendant" report for that particular family, which gives you all the details as already entered into you system. You can send this report (Word) to your relatives for correction and for additional information. Programming this sheet as requested requires some skill.

Is there a way I can run a report on a specific family (parents & children) to spit out a Family Group Sheet in MSWord format? This way I can email or mail it to the appropriate family, have them complete the missing fields, or correct the existing ones, and then send it back to me. I've considered creating my own custom Family Group Sheet, but I don't want to re-enter all the data that is already in the tree before sending it off. Any suggestions? A sample Family Group Sheet can be found here: http://www.obcgs.com/verticalfamilygroup.pdf But ideally I could customize the sheet for the fields I wanted to collect data on.
