Hey guys

I want to add some worl events to give contextual reference to my various trees.

I was going to do this by adding a dummy person with those events attached, but that would mean I would have to copy it to over 300 genomaps!!!

Is there an easy way for me to do this?

Thanks

Tash

I can't see an easy way to do this. The 'best' way would be to add a second timeline band below the GenoPro events band and sychronised with it and have the world events loaded into it from a separate file. This is a standard part of the Simile Timeline code used in the report but would take some time to implement.

any volunteers? Hehe

One example of this technique can be seen here http://simile-widgets.googlecode.com/svn/timeline/tags/latest/src/webapp/examples/religions/religions.html

Using a dummy individual would make it difficult to dintinguish the two sets of events.
