I have a tree for a community association, with lots of birth, death, and marriage dates.

Although the tree is hidden, some members have expressed concern about the information being posted online.

Is there a way I can generate the tree, but hide the dates for the living (without deleting the information from the tree)?

The only options I see are to hide the living completely, or to limit the available information for the dead.

The privacy options are in fact the opposite of what you suggest. All information is shown for dead individuals, but you can control (to some extent) the information for living individuals. If you check the 'Remove All Living Individuals' box, and then the 'Keep Names' box, and select the 'Remove all date of births' button, you will achieve your requirements for living individuals. However, there is no easy way to remove the marriage information, although there may be a way of modifying the report skin to achieve this.

Ah ok, thanks .. I thought those modifiers affected the dead individuals only, and not the living.  I'll try those options.

Thanks for the clarification.
