We work with canine genetics and our goal is to map new disease genes for various inherited diseases in dogs. I have a lot of information about dogs in an excel-sheet and need to import all the information into GenoPro, to create a pedigree over these dogs, to see how all are related. How do I proceed? My excel-sheet could look as following (where disease represents as 0=unknown, 1=healthy, 2=ill):

IdFamilyIdDog  Lab. No    Reg. NameGenderDiseaseFather idMother id
1S12345/96  1.46.1    Hundens AnnaF1S11111/94S22222/91
1S56789/98  1.46.2    Vovven's KajsaF1DK12345/93S33333/92
1S11223/2000  1.46.3    Hundens KalleM0S44444/96S55555/96
1S56790/98  1.46.4    Vovven's OskarM2DK12345/93S33333/92

If possible the disease information for the parents could be included as well. (Lab.No, Reg.Name, Gender is all information about the individual).

Best regards,

Susanne
