I know I can click on an object, like a parent link, and it will fill with solid squares.

BTW, why are there so many solid squares between one man and one woman (married couple)? If you place the cross on a square and move it, those squares seemingly multiply like the brooms in Fantasia's sorcerer's apprentice. Then I have to move each square to make the line neat and tidy. There is no joy with "snap to grid" when the squares are misaligned.

There is also a miniature + or - next to the cross. What does that mean?

Any guidance is appreciated. Using 1.91b
