I have not bought GenoProGold yet and before I did I wanted to be sure that there was a way to burn a copy of my family tree complete with pictures onto a CD that I could give to my brothers and sisters. As of right now I am operating under this assumption: since my family pictures are located in C:\MyDocuments\MyPictures I would need to copy the pictures to a CD then place the CD in the D:\ Drive. Then add the pictures to the GenoPro program from the D:\ Drive. Then using my CD Creator program transfer the pictures and GenoPro program into the CD Creator program buffer, then remove the picture CD from the D:\ Drive and insert a blank CD and burn the information out of the buffer onto the blank CD. That way when my relatives put the burned CD in their D:\ Drive the program would look for the pictures there instead of in C:\MyDocuments\MyPictures. At least that is the way I believe it would work. Has anyone here ever made a CD complete with pictures to give away that worked? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

The easiest way is to generate an HTML report. The report generator will generate an HTML page for each individual and will copy all the pictures to a sub-folder named "Pictures". The report generator will also include to the report the family tree (.gno file) linking to the pictures located in the "Pictures" folder.

Once the report has been generated, just copy/burn the report to your CD. You may delete the HTML pages if you just want the family tree with the pictures. Eventually there will be an option to perform a "full backup" with pictures and file attachments.

Thank you very much for the information, that is a lot less work than what I had thought.
