| Hello Dan, do you plan to add such tracking history feature which can automatically tracks the last objects (individuals, links, ...) you edited, enabling you to jump to recently changed objects ?

| No, that's something different. I have in my mind feature similar to bookmarks or Go-Back Bo-Forward buttons (other genealogy software can do this). That's feature which simple remember position of the last edited object and you can go back (and forward) to the place by clicking the button (or hot key). Undo feature is something different, keeping a log of modifications is also something different. The feature I'm asking for is not so difficult to implement but it can save a lot of time.

| This is a good suggestion. This is like a MRU (most recently used) list of all modified objects. I guess this "history" would track only edited properties, such as name, comment, date of birth, etc. Tracking the history using the Undo/Redo would cause too many entries. For instance, moving an object with the mouse should not count as a modified property regarding this history list.

GenoProSupport (9/27/2005) I guess this "history" would track only edited properties, such as name, comment, date of birth, etc. Tracking the history using the Undo/Redo would cause too many entries. For instance, moving an object with the mouse should not count as a modified property regarding this history list.I agree, this is all that should be tracked! BTW I noticed something that lead me almost to suggest the same thing. When two *gno documents are opened and tiled (for comparison) when i select and open for editing one person in a first document, close the editing window, then open a person in other document, when returning to first document by double click on a person, it opens a last time selected person no matter which person was double clicked on this time... (so I edited wrong person few times) :-)

V.L.o (9/27/2005) ... it opens a last time selected person no matter which person was double clicked on this time... (so I edited wrong person few times) :-)I fixed it (it will be in Beta15). By design, GenoPro ignores the first click when switching document, however opening the wrong person is clearly a bug.
