1) It is nice to have this feature, which gives you an instant view what place it is somebody was born in.
But can not switch the pictures with the buttoms underneath. It switches pictures somewhere else, can not remember where.

2) The contact page shows the same content of the individual page?

1) yes there is a bug there. At present the slideshow plays in the detail frame. To fix:

change line 20 of place.htm from
<base target="detail"/>
to
<base target="popup"/>

I will include this in the next release.

2) Clicking the line below the individual displays the contact information in the right hand 'detail' frame. There is work to do on contacts. If you or anyone else have suggestions as to what you would like to see please let me know.

Without having seen yet the final contact properties, it will be difficult to say what should be seen on that page. But I assume we can have information such as
1) what places somebody has lived in from when to when and where he lives now with references who else has lived there under the same adress and
2) can be reached under (tel/fax,e-mail,adress, URL, etc.) with reference who else lives now under the same adress.
