I notice that this feature has been requested previously, but I would like to add my voice to request this feature. There are various timeline programs around but having the facility as a part of GenoPro would be much better and keep all the relavant data in one place and obviously use the accumulated data to produce the timeline. I suggest that it also allow for single time events (eg. Birth date of child) and events that extend for a period of time (eg education, employment, where living/housing,etc). Also I would like to see the ability to categorise events/items and be able to hide/show them as required.

Currently I am using Visio to produce such a timeline and although it has some features to help with this any relevant data must be entered manually rather than using imported GEDCOM data etc.

Hope you give this some consideration and put it into the next version.

The timeline can be tied to events as well as birth/death, occupation and contact dates.

I, too, would like to voice a request for a feature along these lines. I view events as an important pillar for any genealogical representation, and happen to have a large repository of legacy events recorded in my imported gedcom, which are currently lying idle.
