I didn't really know where to put this, but I did want to let the Genopro staff know how much I love this product. For me, I'm not so much into genealogy per se, but more into documenting the people in our family whom I've known, especially the ones who have passed on. I don't know about the other products, since I didn't trial them. But I love that I'm able to add lots of photos, comments, audio clips and video clips. And the "one click" web publishing is awesome! Anyway, I've started calling my Genopro site, my online family album, because to me, that's what it is. : And the very cool thing about my online family album is that anyone in my family, anywhere, can see it too!
So I just wanted to say thank you for making such a wonderful product!

Dear Susan,Thank you very much for the compliment. We are working on a true collaboration module, so you will be able to have other members of your family capable to view and edit your family tree online. The collaboration module will have security, where the creator (or administrators) of the family tree will have control on who can view and/or modify the family tree, including adding pictures and other attachments such as audio & video clips. GenoPro will also display a history of changes by users, in case of the need to contact a family member for more details. The best is yet to come.

You have just totally read my mind!!!! I was JUST thinking of something like that this morning! Since I'm new to genealogy research, I've found it difficult to find (online) any birth/marriage info on people still alive & figure it's because it's a privacy issue. So one thought I had was to send out questionnaires, which I quickly nixed because it was so totally geeky. :: My next thought was that it would be cool if people could get online & add/change data themselves. Even better that they will be able to add their own photos!!!! (I'm still awaiting photos my sister said she'd send me 6 months ago!) I'm very excited about this feature and can't wait for it to be released!!!!
Thanks, again!

What is the status of the collaboration module? Is it in Genopro 2016? I saw in another post that it appears the module will be in GenoproX? If so, what is the time frame for it? It's a capability that we can really use.
Thanks.
