I am just wondering because I have seen the various Genogram symbols here: You have a symbol for pregnancy, miscarriage, and abortion but what do you use if the woman dies pregnant and the child dies due to that. It’s not really miscarriage, is it?

Your question is not clear and rather too general.
Even a pregnant woman can die from cancer, heart attack or in an accident. And nothing to do with her pregnancy.
1) You can use the Individual display tab and select 'Always draw pregnancy symbol' if you want.
However for your info, on a Narrative Report, the triangle symbol will not be shown.
So I suggest:
2) You input a Death Comment, e.g. 'Mary died while 6.5 months pregnant with a baby boy' if you know such details.
3) You can also input something in the 'Cause of death->specify' field if her death is related to her pregnancy. In this case there must be a precise technical medical term to describe the cause of her death.
and 4) you may also, from the display tab, play around with the colors and borders to make up your own symbol.

Yeah, you're probably right. I wasn’t too concrete because I don’t know of any case like that in my genealogies. I was just wondering, if there is the possibility to draw a symbol for an unborn descendant …
