Hi Ron, you may or may not be aware that at the moment in the Narrative Report, pets are treated as Children. Smile (which is socially correct and proper, but genealogically incorrect)

Ron, My apologies, I meant Descendants Report. My mind thought one thing and my fingers typed something else.

Animals have their place and their space needs to be protected but as for animals sharing my living space - no thanks. Many pet lovers treat their pets as children, giving them names and calling themselves Mummy & Daddy,  and pets are are often child substitutes so I guess the Descendants Report matches some requirements Smile.

On a more serious note, I think it is a flaw in GenoPro's data model to allow connection of a pet to a family via a Pedigree Link as a chid (or even as a parent!!). Far better to use a Social and/or Emotional Relationship instead, but unfortunately relationships cannot be associated with a family.

A report script should be able to loop around the Children collection and find only children, not pets as well. If they are to be connected in this way, then a separate collection is required.
