Hi,

I purchased genopro in May 2008 for a year's subscription. Last month my computer crashed and I had to start from scratch again, so therefore losing all my downloaded programs, including genopro. Now the program won't let me download again and says that I am expired, please help, I should have six months left on my purchase.  My receipt and activation key # is: 9VK-M25-AZE-ZFJ-TMP

Thank you!

Patti

Dear Patti,

First, there is no subscription.  Your permanent registration key is valid the version of GenoPro you purchased for as long as you wish.  Just download and install http://www.genopro.com/InstallGenoPro.exe and enter your registration key.  Your key should be found in your profile at http://support.genopro.com/ControlPanel.aspx.  Another way to get your registration key is to enter your email address in the registration dialog which will send your key by email.

Cheers,
-- Daniel.

Genopro is a program which will create documents. It is a sort of Catch22 that until you create a document you will not find any in your documents folder.
Depends on which version of Windows you are using but they are all similar. If you have installed GenoPro then it will be in the Program list. If it is not yet installed you wil need to run the InstallGenoPro program.

Open the list of programs, in XP click the 'start' icon at the screen bottom, and then select Programs. Newly installed programs should appear on the initial list; otherwise you need to expand the list to see it.

One you have GenoPro open there are instructions on-screen telling you how to start. save the results which will appear in your list of documents

Hope that sorts things

I think Cheryl is saying she has downloaded GenoPro but cannot find the downloaded file.

So Cheryl I suggest you contact a friend/relative with PC knowledge or a local PC support person (e.g. from a local paper) who can provide some computer tuition and show you how to download and install it. This is a support forum for GenoPro issues. If this is not a problem specific to GenoPro then it is unreasonable to expect support on a general PC usage issue. I also believe it is unreasonable to expect telephone support on software unless you are prepared to pay a premium rate telephone toll charge. The cost of time spent on one call could easily exceed the purchase price making a non-viable business.

I assume you have downloaded a free trial copy so that you can try before you buy.
