I habe a question: Is it possible to have photos instead of the symbols on my genogramm? if yes, how?

I would like to make it as a present for my grandma and she wouldn´t be able to handle all the symbols I think. Would be much nicer if I could replace them with a picture from the person.

You can not replace the symbols, but you can use the Text Label to insert pictures into your genogram. Re-size the text label to the approximate size of the picture and place this label to the position you would like to have it, most probably next to the person. Right clicking this text label gives you another menu for more options.

Yours solutions not run .
I want to print in the genogram and see in my genogram screen a little box with each photo.
I add text label, choose a photo and OK , but nothing appears. I try to make the text label background transparent, but the same.
What it's my mistake ??
Can any send me an example ??
Regards
Juan Barney

Juan, you have to run the Report Generator, either the English Narrative Report or your customised version if you have one.

After you have run the report, click on the Family Tree diagrams tab then on the required Genomap.

I am afraid the feature you are after is currently not in GenoPro. It has been suggested several times so it is probably on the to-do list.

If you have Inkscape installed then the Report can include PDF images of your GenoMaps, including the pictures. These can be printed via any PDF viewer/reader. e.g. Adobe, Foxit etc. Alternatively you can use Inkscape to rescale the SVG images of the GenoMaps that are generated as part of the report to any size you want and then print. This has been mentioned elsewhere on the forum and you will need to delete the arrows and circle from the SVG images using Inkscape.
