I have removed a description of one of the individuals in my family tree. The current report at:

http://familytrees.genopro.com/265666/Wagschal-Lanpher/default.htm?page=Fass-Erin-ind00023.htm

is accurate, but a Google search includes

"Erin has a partner named Sabine Hoelzel." --- language that has been removed from the report.

Google claims that the information is stored on the familytrees site.

How do I get rid of it?

Thanks for your help,

Pete

The FTP Client allows you to delete unwanted files.  Feel free to download the tool at http://www.genopro.com/help/ftp-client/

Thanks for the suggestion, but this does not solve my problem.

The file as it appears in my family tree (Fass-Erin-ind00023.htm) is fine.

But a Google search for Erin Fass still includes the inaccurate sentence, "Erin has a partner named Sabine Hoelzel."

Where, on your server, is this information and how can I get it removed?

You have to wait a few weeks for Google to remove the data from its cache. According to Google, the process may take up to 6 weeks.

According to Google, the files are not in its cache but on a third party server -- familytrees

Unfortunately this is still in Google Cache. It can be removed by filling out the appropriate form on Google here

I've already done that, and Google denied the request explaining that the information is on a third party server...

now what?

I have put "Erin Fass" into Google and did not see the reference. Is it possible that the data is in the cache on your PC? This may be nonsense, but even if it is, the problem is not visible to me. Ask others to check

The reference is in Google when I search ... the page is different on Genopro Family Trees.

When filling in the Google form you must act as the site owner, so it is not treated as a third party.
The reference will naturally be replaced in time.

Thank you all for your suggestions.

I gather that the information is not on GenoPro's server, so I guess there's nothing to do but wait until the reference disappears.

I appreciate your time in checking this out for me.
