I am a first time user and have painstakingly deleted the 'permanent id's' from each family member on my genogram over and over again only to have them sneak back in somehow when I begin working again. How can I eliminate the permanent ID in the genomap view? That is to say I only wish to see "1920-1968" as the top label for the circle or square, not "1920-1968" with "ind00146" on the line under it. Can you please advise as to how to adjust this?

Thanks!!

On the top menu click on Display and choose Year of Birth etc but not the option containing the ID
The system needs an ID to know which bit of data is referenced. You can delete them, so you can re-reference, but they need to come back
