I thought GenoPro was printing as it appears in the Print Preview.  Can you please tell me how you would like GenoPro to print?  Please be descriptive because I am not sure what you mean by your question.

By the way, you may copy & paste your family tree and print it from a word processor or a graphic editor software.

Right -- sorry for the vagueness.

Is it possible to print the tree with a dark background (say, blue, as in Print Preview) and for the tree details to show up with little white areas around them (as it does in Print Preview?)

Create a Text Label, stretch it to cover the Print Area, delete the text and the border, choose the background colour you require, use position 'Send to Back' (Shift + [ or [) to ensure it is placed behind other objects.
