I presume you are talking about the HTML report?

I imported a .ged after installation, and a Genomap was created.

I like the look of it, but my first problem is to feel comfortable with it, which means I have to move around in the tree and see if it could replace what I'm using now.

After perhaps 15 minutes of use I don't know if it is the HTML display.

Whatever the learning curve of genopro may be it has to be reasonable (unlike my TMG)

as I'm approaching my ninth decade. I thought it was a simple question!

Now that you have given some context to your question, yes it is a simple one with a simple answer - to move around the genogram/genomap within GenoPro simply hold down the Alt key and move your mouse.

The Genomap view can only be controlled by Scroll Bars. Making Bookmarks will assist in returning to a popular intersection. Splitting the Genomap into smaller Genomaps also makes group selection by Tab.

When the English Narrative Report is created, it will produce a PDF or diagram which can be controlled by use of the 'hand' icon. It is this reason that you were asked if your question referred to the Genomap or the Report. Smile

Thanks Ron for your feedback, I just tried and it works; so your reply has helped more than one person....

And if you have a "Scroll Wheel" on your mouse, this can be used to "Zoom" in/out,

So a combination of "ALT drag" and mouse "Scroll Wheel" is very useful for navigating large Genomaps
