Hi.

I'm trying to install the software on a terminal server. My first question is, has the software been tested on Windows 2008 Enterprise Terminal Server, and is there any issue is using it in a multi-user environment? I installed the trial and it appears to work fine but I haven't fully tested it.

My second question is, how can I change the proxy settings for the software. I tried to request an evaluation key, but it doesn't seem to work. The server that I have installed on accesses the internet through a proxy server.

Thanks,

I have not personally tried GenoPro on Windows 2008 Enterprise Terminal Server, however I believe it works.  GenoPro has been running on all versions of GenoPro since its first release.  Also, GenoPro runs on a Citrix environment.

I added the following evaluation key 8M6-46J-AKJ-LDU-TMP to your account.  This key is valid for 6 months, so you will have enough time to evaluate GenoPro.

GenoPro is proxy-aware, however it does not manage proxy settings directly.  Can you please elaborate a bit more about the problem and I will be better able to find a solution.  We want GenoPro to work on all environments, including Enterprise Terminal Server.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I will use the code supplied. The issue was that when installing the software, on clicking "Get FREE Evaluatin Key Now!" button, it says "Connecting to GenoPro.com to request evaluation key..." and then the following error:

"GenoPro is unable to send your registration key because of the following error: Cannot send email because your mail server is unreachable. Please verify any typo, use a different email adddress, or contact your ISP>... HyperData Error 1030: ErrMailServerUnreachable"

I realise now that it may not be a proxy-related error but rather a mail connection error.

This error occurs when GenoPro is unable to reach the destination server for delivering the email.  For instance, GenoPro was unable to connect to hotmail.com.
