I’ve already added the second
wife
and all her children and grandchildren. Now I need to go back and add the first wife, but when I add another mate, it puts her to the right of the spouse I’ve already entered (as if this is the second wife rather than the first). How do I fix this?

Highlight the 1st wife together with the
marriage
line and drag with the mouse to the left until the left end of the marriage is underneath of the husband. Click the
family tab
of the husband and make sure that the wives are correctly set as 1st mate, 2nd mate,etc.
