I've recently changed computers and moved the contents of one to the other.  Everything appears to be working except Genopro.  Tje Programme is there but I can't access my genogram.  The programme was moved by downloading/uploading using an external hard drive.  I wasn't present during this process so cannot say exactly how it was done.  The IT expert who did it had access to my reg key and password.  Could you help please.

Your genogram or family tree are files just like word processing or picture. They have to be move to the new computer. In the latest version of GenoPro you can use the Find files features that will search your hard drive for your genograms.

If the program opens then you need to locate the file .gno. If you have moved from XP to W7 then the problem could be that both Vista & W7 are fussy about where data are stored.
Is your problem that GenoPro does not open - need registration key
2  You did not transfer your .gno file
3  Can not locate the file which is on the new disc

Thank you so much.  Yes, I am moving from XP to Windows and, to make things worse, from desktop to laptop.  Somewhere in this process I seem to have lost all of my computer savvy!  I remembered that I did  back up all my files and, a cup of coffee later, tried restoring the files onto the new computer.  I've done two so far and it seems to be working.  There's probably a quicker way but one at a time suits me.  Again, thank you for your quick responses.
