Is there a way to represent an ancestor and descendant with an unknown number of generations between them? Like, say, you know of a great grandparent but are not sure of exactly how many "greats" to toss in...

Does anyone have a resolution to this?  I have the same situation.  Thanks.

I use a dotted line between the generations, with an explanation next to it.

That's what I do as well. I was hoping there was a feature more specific to the purpose (assuming something hasn't been "stealthed in" in the two years since the original post and replies. Oh well... another thing to add to the ever-growing feature wish list that may never get fulfilled... sigh... Sad
