I have attempted several times to save my genogram into a word document file, and each time that I have gone into my documents to retrieve the document, it comes up encrypt.

How do I get my genogram to export into myi existing word document?

How do I get it to save into a word document without having the encrypt codes.

Thanks,

Mrs. Henderson

FILE>EXPORT and choose Metafile.
Import the metafile into your document.
Unless your tree is very small it will be difficult to read.
I usually break the tree into families by careful selection, copy and paste each family as a new Genogram.
Then export each family Genogram.

When you say 'genogram', do you mean the diagram or the information about the family tree. If you mean the data then you need to extract the text using the Report Generator, on the Tools menu. The standard report produces html, which Word could import but better to use the Descendant Report skin, which has been designed to produce text for Word or Open Office
