I already have a family database in Excel format.

The data is linked with a code.

This is a little view of the database:

No. Code Name
1 S1 Parijem (RIP)
2 S1.1 Sudarjati (RIP)
3 S1.1.1 HERY INDIONO
4 S1.1.1.1 PRASETYO KRISTANTO
5 S1.1.1.2 ANDITA WINDA LISTYARINI
6 S1.1.1X TRI IKA WAHYUNI
7 S1.1.2 HUDY PRAMONO
8 S1.1.2.1 RENDY PUTRA PERDANA
9 S1.1.2.2 PRAYUDO MAHENDRA PUTRA
10 S1.1.2X MAHARYUNI RETNO PALUPI

S1 means the first child
S1.1 means the first child's first child
S1.1.1 means the first child's first child's first child
S1.1.1.1 means the first child's first child's first child's first child
S1.1.1.2 means the first child's first child's first child's second child
S1.1.1X means the first child's first child's first child's spouse
....etc

The data consists of 330 members, with 11 column fields.

Any suggestion what is the best way to import this data to GenoPro?

Thank you

At worst, can I just copy the data (name, birth date, address, etc) and manually create the link?

Thanks

The sad answer is No. You cant import your excel data to GenoPro as it is.

Most Genealogy software are working with GEDCOM protocol.
This protocol created years ago and it is being used to import and export data from one program to another.

It is easier to type in your data to GenoPro from scratch from trying to transfer your excel to GEDCOM and then to any software you want.

I have never had the need for this, so these suggestions are not tested by me. A Google search 'excel gedcom' gives many suggestions.
SmartGenealogy claims to import Excel and will then create a gedcom
http://rmhh.co.uk/legacy.html is a utility to import Excel and create a gedcom; intended for use with Legacy - but there is a free version of this if you need it. This has instuctions and I would start here.
Whatever you attempt you will need to set up a copy of the spreadsheet in a suitable format. I suspect relationships may be a problem but if you get the data in you can link on screen using the link as parent/child/mate options
