I have my registration key number ,  etc, what is the procedure please.

http://www.genopro.com/setup/
explains where to get the program and how to instal it. Hopefully you used the online backup facility to store your data. If so there is a link on the File menu to retrieve the data

Followed instructions, but alas, it seems I didnt click the right boxes when I  registered in 2005.

There dosnt seem to be any of my information stored, when I open my account. How can I retify this for future entries. I had 3 family trees. entered.

Its possible that some details may be on the remote  back up disk, but even that has proved difficult to open.  either way I should like to store the info. in future

Can you advise please.

You have my sympathy here. I had a hard disc die slowly and managed to save some data but since then back-up has been important. Another advantage of GenoPro.
When you get a tree created, go to the File menu and the 6th option is Online Backup. This opens a menu where you can assign a name and add description.
This only saves the data, not any pictures which are in their own directory on the PC. These would be saved if you published a report, either on GenoPro's familytrees facility or somewhere else

Thanks for that - I thought since the files seem to update that it was on remote storage, but thats life.....

Everything was fine when I went away 10 days ago, then when I returned Windows would not open, and my remote storage disk wont open on this new hard drive, think it might on another machine, will have to wait and see and check with frineds.

But there is 10 years stuff on the files - photos , art work, documents ,scans , etc......   so not a happy bunny!

When my drive went the PC maker said it was out of guarantee but I did get a new free drive as the guarantee on the drive itself was much longer than the normal PC guarantee. Might be worth looking into

Had you Generated these reports to the Web (e.g. familytrees,genopro.com) in the past?  If so, there may be a copy of the file uploaded with the Report.  The pictures (at least thumbnails) may also be recoverable.
