It's certainly been a while since I last logged in here...and been even longer since I updated GenoPro. To be honest, I actually thought GenoPro died, since if I remember correctly, once Monica was released, updates for regular GenoPro almost ceased. And then Monica wasn't being released too often, I believe. And it seems as though there hasn't been a new version in over a year.
Anyway, I recently stumbled back across these forums through Google searches, and to my surprise there are new versions of GenoPro that have been released since my 2.4.0.3, and it appears as though jcmorin and GenoProSupport are still active on the forums at least, so one can hope their also active on developing 
But, to the point of this topic, around an hour ago now, I downloaded the newest GenoPro release, 2.5.4.1, and although I like a large amount of the changes (still see a large amount of features I don't use, but I digress), there are a few things I miss from GenoPro Monica...mainly two...
1. Immigration Symbol
2. Multiple Cultures Symbol
Okay, so I rarely use the Multiple Cultures Symbol, but I use the Immigration one a lot. In Monica, it is nice in that if you check the box for immigration, the immigration symbol automatically appears above the persons' birth/death years, and same with multiple cultures being clicked.
In the latest GenoPro release, that is lost. The Immigration and Multiple Cultures symbols are still there (however, I don't like the look of them compared to the Monica look), and if you click those symbols, instead of them sticking to an individual like the medical symbols on the same toolbar do, the symbols in the latest release can be put anywhere and I can't seem to get them to stay together with the individual during an auto-arrange (one reason why I haven't used many of GenoPro's newer, post-beta, implementations)
Basically, I'm asking several things...
1. Are any updates for GenoPro planned soon?
2. Is there any chances for improved auto-arrange functions? (ie, if an individual has more than two/three spouses with children from a couple of the marriages, starts looking bad after a while)
3. Is there any chance of those symbols returning to the way they were, or maybe having user-selected symbol icons for things?
Although I'd love to see other things on GenoPro, I really can't get beyond the visual change...only thing I can do is test out other versions of GenoPro to see when those symbols were nixed and use the latest version.
