Hello
A. Message log informs a few things I don't understand, see below:
1. Unable to create Debug Manager (hr=0x80040154) -->Why?
2. No Configuration Messages file found for Language code FI (Code\local\ConfigMsgFI.xml) --> ConfigMsgFI.xml does exist?
3. Merging Config.xml version 2011.11.08 into ConfigMsgEN.xml version 2013.02.17. --> why not merging into ConfigMsgFI.xml which exists?
Base skin version from Config.xml is : 2011.11.08 --> why doesn't it use 2013.02.17 Config.xml file which exists?
Report Language code 'FI' Dictionary version '2013.02.17' --> this is at least as expected  .
B. Family tree
SVG family tree works as expected but PDF shows an empty screen (I've updated Adobe reader) and Incscape is installed. What do I miss here?

Regarding your comment about the PDF display. I found that when the PDF display is blank, I can click on the SVG button that brings up the SVG genomap correctly, then click on the PDF button and may bring up the PDF genomap correctly. If not, click on SVG and PDF again.
This behaviour I found on my Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit computer. On my Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit machine it works fine.

1. Unable to create Debug Manager (hr=0x80040154) -->Why?
I've seen this and wondered why as well. I know a 'recent' update of GenoPro enabled debugging of scripts but haven't been able to use it myself. Hopefully Dan can explain this one.
2. No Configuration Messages file found for Language code FI (Code\local\ConfigMsgFI.xml) --> ConfigMsgFI.xml does exist?
I can't reproduce this error (version 2013.02.17). If GenoPro GUI is set to language FI or Document custom tag BaseLanguage is set to FI and ConfigMsgFI.xml is found in the Code\local\ folder then it will be used.
3. Merging Config.xml version 2011.11.08 into ConfigMsgEN.xml version 2013.02.17. --> why not merging into ConfigMsgFI.xml which exists?
This looks like some sort of corruption of the skin files. A Config.xml file with version 2011.11.08 should not exist in the same skin as Code\local\ConfigMsgEN.xml version 2013.02.17 if it has been unzipped correctly.

I avoid Adobe PDF reader if at all possible, preferring to use either the built-in Chrome PDF Reader or Foxit PDF Reader. I always have trouble getting Adobe Reader to launch correctly in browser window instead of its own window. I have to uninstall EVERY PDF reader I have installed and then re-install the bloated Adobe PDF Reader to get it to work as expected. As Frank1 I get different results on different machines.

Thanks for your reply! Forgot to inform that I'm using Narrative Report, version 2013.02.17.

If I have GenoPro GUI set to language FI the problem exist BUT if, as I was advised, set "Document custom tag BaseLanguage" to FI and ConfigMsgFI.xml exist (as it does) I don't get this message again. Issues solved, many thanks!
About Family tree with PDF, I don't get it working by toggling back and forth the SVG/PDF button. From IE I also receive a message (see attachment). I think I will follow advice to move over to "Foxit PDF Reader".
I hope Dan could advise what could I do with the problem no 1. "Unable to create Debug Manager (hr=0x80040154)".
Problem no 3. "Merging Config.xml version 2011.11.08 into ConfigMsgEN.xml version 2013.02.17" changed a bit after set "Document custom tag BaseLanguage" to FI and now the system displays:

Firstly I am not surprised you did not find Config.xml in Code\local\ folder as it is not supposed to be there. It resides in the root folder of the skin, i.e. alongside Dictionary.xml and other files. Please download version 2013.02.17 again and unzip it into an empty folder under you skins folder and try that. The skin you have does not appear to have been installed correctly. It is as though it contains some of the original Narrative Report files but with Code\local\ files from the latest version. This would explain why it is ignoring the GenoPro GUI language setting and why the Config.xml version is reported as 2011.11.08. The IE message you are getting maybe because you are not using IE9. Earlier versions have no built-in support for SVG and you would need to install Adode's SVG reader.

Please someone help me I do not have a clue as to what everyone is talking about. This is totally over my head. I need to do a simple genogram for school. Requirements are small: Create a fictitious family. Only three generations. I just got a free copy of Genogram and cannot even figure out how to use the symbols and build the family tree. Please I am desperate and have to get this project in to class real soon. Is there anyone on line that can spend a little time walking me through this

I did download version 2013.02.17 again and unzipped it into an empty folder (newly created) under my skins folder and tried that. If I run the report in english (ie. don't put finnish *.xml files into this newly created folder) does work as expected. If I put finnish *.xml files (dictionary-, config- and namedictionary) the Config.xml version is reported as 2011.11.08 (see below):

I think the reason for Base skin version from Config.xml is :2011.11.08 was that I had copied earlier version of "Config.xml" to newly copied finnish skin folder. When I copied newly copied (downloaded today) of version 2013.02.17 Config.xml (from english skin folder) file into my finnish skin folder I did not get that message again. I think this case is solved, thank you for your support. BR, Jarmo

Can you explain this better? What is necessary to do after unziping the EN skin to the new folder?
